Ai Van reunites with her second husband: All resentments 'let the wind blow away' 3

On the evening of May 12 in Hanoi, Ai Van and her second ex-husband met and talked in the atmosphere of a reunion of close old friends.

There are reunions that seem to be filled with tears, but turn out to be filled with laughter.

It was a special reunion because it took place after Ai Van released her autobiography Let the Wind Take It Away – a place she said was dedicated to recounting her most candid and honest life.

Ai Van chatted with friends at the meeting on the evening of May 12.

Readers may wonder or be annoyed by the lack of very curious stories.

When `Episode Two` gave flowers to congratulate Ai Van, he said: `I didn’t expect her to write so well.` The calling `grandma` was both a joke and an expression of familiarity, making their friends laugh.

The meeting was also special because there was a reunion between `Tap Two` and `Tap Three` – Ai Van’s current husband.

One of their friends joked that even in war there are times when both sides have to sit down and reconcile, let alone being husband and wife.

Happy moment of Ai Van and her husband (right) with friends.

Sitting back after those exciting moments, Ai Van confided that leaving the seven pages of the book blank was the right decision.

In addition to maintaining a good friendship with her second husband, Ai Van is also happy when she is surrounded by friends.

Musician Dang Huu Phuc studied with Ai Van since 1969 and evacuated together.

“Ai Van sings my songs with great quality.

Regarding Ai Van’s autobiography, the musician shared that he saw in it the voices from the bottom of the singer’s heart.

Dang Huu Phuc believes that the events in Ai Van’s life are so many that if a normal person, just one or two events would be unbearable.

Musician Do Hong Quan said he and Ai Van studied together at the Vietnam Music School (the predecessor of the National Academy of Music).

Do Hong Quan believes that the book is not just Ai Van’s personal memory but a living document about a generation filled with authenticity.
