His wife, Ellie Noonan, recalled: `That morning, a farmer from Oklahoma stopped by and told my husband about a strange woman who lived separately from everyone else.

That woman lived alone with her large German Shepherd dog.

At night, people around the area often hear strange noises and sometimes screams.

Since Charlie last informed his wife that he had gone to Oklahoma, she had no longer been able to contact him.
