The weapon systems on the Tran Hung Dao ship such as the AK-176MA naval gun and the Palma anti-aircraft artillery and missile complex were all removed from the canvas for preservation before docking.

According to the Navy Newspaper, the journey of the corvette Tran Hung Dao will last a total of 9,300 km, becoming the farthest sea voyage and participating in the most activities of a Vietnam People’s Navy ship.
