A long-range UAV almost hit an Israeli warship parked at the Eilat naval base.
`Video of the raid shows that the Saar 6 class warship was the target of the attack,` TWZ editor Tyler Rogoway commented.
`The IDF is learning from the raid to improve the air defense network in Eilat,` said Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, IDF spokesman.
It is unclear what type of UAV was used in the raid.
The warehouse was partially destroyed after an attack on Israel’s Eilat naval base on April 1.
`The raid on Eilat is notable because it shows the worrying level of sophistication of militia groups in Iraq,` Rogoway said.
The role of the Saar 6 and Saar 5 class small corvettes became more important when the IDF recently faced attacks by Houthi forces in Yemen attacking the south of the country.
